Over 700 properties are without power due to a National Grid issue in Gloucester
Hundreds of homes are without power in Gloucester this afternoon (Wednesday, July 3). Over 700 properties have no power in the Barton and Tredworth area of Gloucester.
The power cut is affected properties in the GL1 and GL50 area. Initially, over 2,000 properties were affected but power has been restored to 1,691.
National Grid were alerted to reports of a power cut at 2.42pm. It said: " Engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you."
It is thought that power will be restored around 3.30pm. The cause of the power outage is not known at this time.
