21 Mile Road

21 Mile Road over the north branch of the Clinton River. 21 Mile Road will be closed to through traffic between Card Road and North Avenue. A posted detour will be in place and drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project consists of bridge preventative maintenance. Project duration is through September.

21 Mile Road between Jefferson Avenue and I-94 in Chesterfield Township. The road will remain open to traffic with intermittent flagging operations in place during construction operations. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project is part of MCDR’s pavement preservation program. Project duration is through August.

22 Mile Road

22 Mile Road over the middle branch of the Clinton River. 22 Mile Road will be closed to through traffic between Romeo Plank Road and Heydenreich Road. A posted detour will be in place and drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.  Project consists of bridge preventative maintenance. Project duration through September.

23 Mile Road

23 Mile Road between CN Railroad and Gratiot Avenue in Chesterfield Township. Road will remain open to through traffic with one lane open in each direction with turning movement restrictions, lane closures and flagging operations when necessary in place during construction operations. Project is reconstruction of the existing asphalt  road to a five lane concrete road, storm sewer construction CN railroad grade crossing reconstruction, utility relocations, and restoration work. Chesterfield Road at 23 Mile Road will be closed. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project duration through August.

30 Mile Road

30 Mile Road between Van Dyke Avenue (M-53) and Kildare Drive. The road will remain open to traffic with intermittent flagging operations in place during construction operations. Drivers should expect delays and encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project consists of asphalt preservation and resurfacing and is part of MCDR’s pavement preservation program. Project duration through August.

Candler Drive

Candler Drive in Shelby Township. The road will remain open and traffic will be maintained at all times to allow residents to enter and exit the subdivision. Project consists of road reconstruction and is part of MCDR’s subdivision reconstruction program. Project duration through September.

Clinton River Trail

Due to a washout on the Clinton River Trail in Rochester, the trail has been closed west of the Macomb Orchard Trail and Dequindre Road.  Follow the posted detour route.

Dequindre Road, Shelby Township

The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) is continuing to work on the second phase of infrastructure improvements in the area of Dequindre Road between Hamlin Road and Avon Road and Dequindre Road between 23 Mile Road and 24 Mile Road. Drivers are encouraged to follow the posted detours and seek alternate routes when possible. Project consists of installation of new 96-inch water transmission main and is part of GLWA project. Project duration through December.

Ebeling Road, Bruce Township

Ebling Road between Van Dyke Avenue (M-53) and McKay Road. The road will remain open to traffic with intermittent flagging operations in place during construction operations. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. This is part of MCDR’s pavement preservation program. Project duration through August.

Garfield Road

Garfield Road between 14 Mile Road and 15 Mile Road in Fraser. Garfield Road will maintain one northbound lane of traffic during construction with the southbound lane being detoured to Utica Road. Access to all businesses and residential properties will be maintained throughout the duration of this project. Posted detour will be in place and drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project consists of road reconstruction and duration is through August 2025.

Garfield Road between 23 and 25 Mile Road in Macomb Township. Construction of new road. Disruptions to traffic are anticipated in the vicinity of 24 Mile Road and Garfield Road for pavement milling work.  Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project duration is through October.

Haverhill Drive

Haverhill Drive between Tilch Road and Chrys Road in Macomb Township. Eastbound Haverhill Drive will be closed during construction operations. Haverhill Drive will be open to westbound traffic only. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes. Project consists of concrete pavement repair and is part of MCDR’s pavement preservation program. Project through August.

Heatherway Drive

Heatherway Drive in Shelby Township. The road will remain open and traffic will be maintained at all times to allow residents to enter and exit the subdivision. Project consists of road reconstruction and is part of the subdivision reconstruction program. Project duration through September.

Kelly Road

From 15 Mile Road to South Nunneley in Clinton Township

Rehabilitation work continues. Starting the week of July 1, the entrance to Matthew Drive will be closed and Penrod Drive will be open to one way traffic. One northbound lane of Kelly Road will remain open while southbound traffic will be closed for road rehabilitation. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project duration through August.

Jefferson Avenue

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound Jefferson will be closed from Westend Street  to Springwells from 7 p.m. Monday until Aug. 10.

Moravian Drive

Moravian Drive in Clinton Township and Sterling Heights between Schoenherr and Garfield Road. Westbound Moravian Drive will be closed. Eastbound Moravian Drive will be open to through traffic for local access only. A posted detour will be in place. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes. Project consists of road rehabilitation. Project duration through November.

Mound Road

Mound Road from I-696 to M-59 in Sterling Heights and Warren. All paving work is complete and the road is open to traffic. There will be intermittent lane closures to complete landscaping and utility work during the spring. Final landscaping and restoration work  is anticipated to be completed in 2024. Project duration is expected to be through August.

Northpointe Parkway

North Pointe Parkway between Ashland Avenue  and North Willowood Drive in Harrison Township. Southbound North Parkway between Ashland Avenue and Willowood Drive is closed and northbound North Pointe Parkway is open at Metropolitan Parkway.  Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible. The project is part of MCDR’s 2024 pavement preservation program (PPP). Project duration through July.

School Section  Road

School Section Road in Richmond Township over the Logg Drain will be closed to through traffic between Mackey Road and Memphis Ridge Road (M-19). Project consists of culvert replacement. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project duration is through Aug. 5-15.

Shelby Road

Shelby Road between 22 Mile Road and Olen Street in Shelby Township. The road will remain open to traffic with intermittent flagging operations in place during construction operations. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes. Project consists of asphalt preservation and resurfacing and is part of MCDR’s pavement preservation program. Project duration through August.

M-3 (Gratiot)

In Macomb County, northbound and southbound M-3 from 14 Mile to Wellington Crescent will have three lanes open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

In Macomb County, westbound 11 Mile at M-3/Gratiot will have three lanes open from 5 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, northbound M-3 will have two lanes open from Van Dyke Street to Burns Street from 9 a.m. Monday until mid-August.

In Wayne County, southbound M-3 will have one lane open from Burns Street to Van Dyke Street from 9 a.m. Monday until mid August.

M-53 (Van Dyke)

In Macomb County, northbound M-53 will be closed from 18 1/2 Mile Road to M-59/Hall Road from 8 a.m. Monday until late October.

I-275

In Wayne County, southbound I-275 from Five Mile Road to Eureka Road will have one lane open from 5 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound I-275 ramp to westbound M-14 will be closed through Aug. 25.

I-696

In Oakland County, northbound Coolidge will be closed over I-696 from 9 a.m. Monday to 3 p.m. Thursday.

I-75

In Oakland County, southbound I-75 from Livernois to Rochester Road will have one lane open until 5 p.m. Saturday then reopens to two lanes from 5 p.m. Saturday until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound I-75 will be closed at Squirrel intermittently from 7-7:30 a.m. Saturday.

In Oakland County, westbound I-75 BL ramp to Opdyke will be closed from 7 a.m. Monday until Sept. 6.

In Oakland County, eastbound I-75 business loop from M-1/Woodward  to Opdyke will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday until November.

In Oakland County, eastbound I-75 BL ramp to Square Lake/Opdyke will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday until November.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound I-75 ramps to westbound I-94 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound I-75 ramp to eastbound I-94 will be closed from 4:30 a.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, southbound I-75 from Outer Drive to M-39 will have one lane open until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, southbound I-75 ramp to Outer Drive will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday and Outer Drive ramp to southbound I-75 will be closed during the same time frame.

In Oakland County, northbound I-75 ramp to Dixie Highway will be closed until mid-August.

In Wayne County, southbound I-75 ramp to eastbound I-94 will be closed from until late August.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound I-75 at I-94 will have one lane open, two lanes closed intermittently from until late August.

In Oakland County, westbound I-75BL/Square Lake  will be closed from Opdyke to M-1/Woodward through August.

In Oakland County, westbound I-75BL/Square Lake from I-75 to Opdyke will have two lanes open through August.

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound I-75 ramps to westbound I-75BL/Square Lake will have one lane open through August.

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound Opdyke ramps to westbound I-75 BL/Square Lake will be closed through August.

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound Opdyke from East Square Lake to South Boulevard will have one lane open through August.

I-94

In Wayne County, westbound I-94 will have one lane open from I-75 to M-10 until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, eastbound I-94 will have one lane open from M-10 to Chene until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-10 ramps to eastbound I-94 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound I-94 ramps to southbound M-39 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

I-96

In Oakland County, eastbound I-96 from Kent Lake to I-275 will have one lane open intermittently from 6 a.m.-noon Saturday.

In Oakland County westbound I-96 ramp to Novi Road will be closed until October.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 ramp to Kent Lake Road will be closed until October.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 ramp to Novi Road will be closed until October.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 ramp to Kent Lake will be closed until October.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound Newburgh to eastbound I-96 will be closed until late August.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 to Kent Lake Road will have two lanes open until late fall.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 ramps to northbound and southbound Milford closed  and Milford ramp to westbound I-96 closed until late fall.

M-5 (Grand River)

In Oakland County, southbound M-5 ramp to southbound I-275 will have one lane open from 7 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Wednesday.

In Oakland County, southbound M-5 ramp to westbound I-96 will be closed until late fall.

M-8 (Davison)

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound M-8 will have one lane open from Oakland Avenue to Joseph Campau until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County westbound M-8 ramps to northbound and southbound I-75 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound I-75 ramps to eastbound M-8 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

M-10 (Lodge)

In Oakland County, northbound M-10 ramp to westbound I-696 will be closed from 9 a.m. Monday until Sept. 9.

In Wayne County, southbound M-10 from Linwood Street to Oakman Boulevard will have one lane open until 6 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-10 ramps to eastbound I-94 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-10 ramps to northbound I-75 will be closed from 9 a.m -3 p.m. Monday.

M-39 (Southfield Freeway)

In Wayne County, southbound M-39 ramps to eastbound and westbound I-94 will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, Van Born ramp to southbound M-39 will be closed until 9 a.m. Monday.

M-59

In Oakland County, westbound M-59 will have one lane open from Opdyke to University Drive from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily Monday through Aug. 23.

US-24 (Telegraph)

In Oakland County, southbound US-24 ramp to westbound I-696 will be closed from 10 a.m. Monday until late September.

In Oakland County, northbound US-24 from Franklin Road to Square Lake Road will have three lanes open until late August.
