Phil Foden is hoping it's written in the cards that England will win Euro 2024 this summer after reportedly visiting a psychic with his girlfriend ahead of the tournament.
Foden, 24, has enjoyed an outstanding season at Manchester City that saw him win his fourth straight domestic title with the club as well as being named the Premier League player of the year.
He is now looking to cap it off by ending England's 58-year wait for a major tournament triumph, and was keen to know what the future holds as he went to see a psychic with his pregnant partner Rebecca Cooke just days before jetting out to Germany, according to The Sun.
He was given a tarot card reading by Chloe Smith, 25, but the mystic took to Instagram to insist that she will not be revealing exactly what she told Foden and Cooke.
'A reading is personal and no details of any reading whether a celebrity or not is shared with anyone!' she wrote.
A source for The Sun claimed Foden was very interested in hearing from the psychic, although they stopped short of confirming whether he had been told that tournament glory was just around the corner.
'Phil was as keen as Rebecca to get the reading done, especially with such a big tournament on the horizon,' they said.
'Hopefully Chloe told him she saw football was coming home! Phil is very in touch with his feelings and was keen to see if Chloe could give him any insight into the future.'
Whatever Foden was told, he appeared impressed by Smith's reading as he left a discount code for his 11.7m followers on Instagram afterwards.
A message was shared on the Instagram account of Foden's son, Ronnie - who has become a major hit on social media - that read: 'If you're spiritual like me you will love @chloemediumship. She is amazing and we really connected with her.
'We also have a discount code which is "Foden20". Do not miss out.'
Mother-of-three Smith has been doing readings since seeing the spirit of her grandmother at her funeral four years ago.
She started off by doing readings for friends, before charging £35 a session, and counts celebrities including Helen Skelton, Daisy May Cooper and Maura Higgins among her clients.
Foden, who is expecting his third child with Cooke later this year, is now in Germany as he gears up for England's opening game of the Euros against Serbia on Sunday night.
The versatile midfielder looks a certainty to start for Gareth Southgate's men after taking his game to the next level over the past 12 months, but where he will play on the pitch is less clear.
Foden has flourished in the No10 role under Pep Guardiola at City, but with Jude Bellingham also shining in that position, Southgate may be reluctant to play both men centrally due to concerns they could get in each other's way.
It appears more likely that Foden will start from the left wing and be given freedom to drift inside during the game, with Southgate expected to play Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield alongside Bellingham and Declan Rice.
