Chelsea face Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge in just under an hour, and the teams are in!

It’s a return to the team for the central defensive partnership Thiago Silva and Trevoh Chalobah, who missed Tuesday night’s beating by Arsenal. But it looks like Chalobah will be at right back, with Benoit Badiashile in the middle. Axel Disasi is dropped to the bench.

Further forward, Conor Gallagher plays alongside Moises Caicedo in the middle of the pitch, with Cole Palmer returning to play in the hole behind Nicolas Jackson.

Noni Madueke and Myhkailo Mudryk are handed another chance to disappoint out wide. There’s a host of youngsters on the bench, from Josh Acheampong to Kiano Dyer. There is basically not a single senior player on there thanks to the injuries.

Despite the teaser of Reece James’ shirt being visible in the preview image, he’s not on the bench, as expected.
