Manchester United fans travel in big numbers to see the Reds play in London and, of course, last term ended with joyous scenes in the capital as Manchester City were beaten at Wembley in the Emirates FA Cup final.

The Blues provide the opposition again in the Community Shield at the national stadium in August, but when will Erik ten Hag's men be playing in the Big Smoke during the Premier League campaign?

Well, we do not have to wait long, as a fixture at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park is slated for 21 September. Hence, our first London league game in 2024/25 will be at the scene of the last one in 2023/24.

On 26 October, West Ham United are due to provide the opposition at the Olympic Stadium. The Hammers will be managed by Julen Lopetegui, their successor to former Reds boss David Moyes; interestingly, the east Londoners will not play a league game outside of the capital until the following weekend, when they travel north to meet Nottingham Forest.

Our final league assignment in the city for 2024 is a big one, as Ten Hag's team will face Arsenal on 3 December at the Emirates Stadium. The disallowed goal by Alejandro Garnacho that changed the course of last season's 3-1 reverse to the Gunners was one that the manager felt was something of a turning point in our fortunes. Let's hope for better luck this time around, as Mikel Arteta's side look to mount another title challenge.

Moving into 2025, the game against our opening-night opponents Fulham is due to be staged at Craven Cottage on 25 January. Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes scored dramatic winners in our last two visits to the ground by the River Thames.

On 15 February, the magnificent Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be the scene of our clash with Ange Postecoglu's Spurs for what promises to be an entertaining encounter.

Our last two away fixtures are both in London - firstly at Brentford on 3 May, where Mason Mount scored his first goal for the club, in March.

Chelsea will be the final league game on the road in 2024/25, as we look to avenge the agonising 4-3 defeat to the Blues in  April.

Please be aware that all fixtures are subject to change due to TV scheduling and/or involvement in European competition.
