President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to former Governor of Borno, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Aisha. Hajiya Aisha passed away on Sunday in Abuja at the age of 93 after a prolonged illness. She is set to be buried today, Monday, at the family residence of the late Galadima Modu Sheriff on Damboa Road in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu also expressed his sympathies to the entire Modu Sheriff family. He urged them to find solace in the knowledge that Hajiya Aisha led an exemplary life characterized by strong virtues and passed away at the revered age of 93.

“The President prays that Allah grants the departed Aljannat Firdausi and provides comfort to her family,” Ngelale stated.
