The MD/Chief Executive Officer of Skyewise Group, Dr. Elvis Abuyere has received plaque for the award of Outstanding Industrialist of the Year, an honour bestowed on him by Parliament Diary Media Group. 

The dialogue and award ceremony held June 20, 2024, at the main auditorium of the Nigerian National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja-Nigeria which focused on the theme "Coups d'etats and ECOWAS Unity: The Role of National Assemblies."

It was an opportunity for a diverse range of speakers to discuss the theme and share their perspectives on the role of national assemblies in addressing coups d'etats and promoting ECOWAS unity.

The conferment of Awards was to recognise individuals who have made significant contributions to promote good governance and build democracy in Africa. 

Dr. Abuyere was however unavoidably absent at the event, necessitating the presentation by the award organisers at his Abuja office on Thursday. 

The delegation was led by Chief Precious Enebuse, Publisher/CEO, The Parliament a publication that highlights on the activities of the legislature. 

Chief Enebuse congratulated Dr. Abuyere for emerging the award winner, praising him for his efforts in raising frontiers of industry in the country. 

Dr Abuyere expressed gratitude for the recognition and assured to continue to play a role on nation-building and raising the country's democratic culture.
