The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says  its engineers will undertake the emergency repairs of a vandalised tower along the Jos-Gombe 330KV transmission line.

This is contained in a statement on its website signed by Ndidi Mbah, TCN’S General Manager, Public Affairs.

Mbah said that the reinforcement would take place between 11 a.m. and 6p.m.

She explained that the seven hour repairs was essential to the damaged parts of the transmission circuit.

She added that as a result of the repairs, there would be power interruption in Gombe, Yola, Damaturu and Jalingo.

”Please, be assured that bulk supply will be restored immediately after the repairs is completed.”(NAN
