The Chairman of Nigeria National League(NNL) Mr. George Aluo has congratulated Maiduguri- based El-Kanemi Warriors Football Club for their impressive victory over Abia Warriors of Umuahia in the final of the President Federation Cup decided Saturday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.
The coach Aliyu Zubairu lads thrashed the Warriors of Umuahia under the tutelage of Berthel Orji 2-0 to win the domestic title for the 3rd time,having won it in 1991,1992 and now(2024).
El-Kanemi Warriors finished tops in Conference C in the regular season of NNL and qualified alongside Nasarawa United, Beyond Limits Football Academy and Ikorodu City from the recently concluded NNL Super eight in Enugu to the Nigerian top flight league .
Mr. Aluo in a message to the Warriors said ” You have proven yourselves to be a worthy testaments, and so your ticket to the NPFL was no fluke.
“This is victory for NNL and we are proud of your achievement”
