The Edi-Abali of Kalabari Kingdom, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari says the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike will account for all the monies he stole from Rivers State.

Wike has held several positions in the state which include: LG chairman, chief of staff, minister of state for education, two-time governor, and currently the minister of the federal capital territory.

Alhaji Asari was quoted as saying that: “We keep on asking the question: Who was Nyesom Wike before 1999? And how did Nyesom Wike rise within the political circles of Rivers State? Nyesom Wike rose by sabotaging, betraying, and tricking people.

“Nyesom Wike became LG chairman through the instrumentality of late Marshal Harry who was the chairman of PDP in Rivers State at the time. And Marshal Harry was like a demigod to Nyesom Wike.

“Before you knew it, Nyesom Wike had betrayed Marshal Harry and had joined Dr Peter Odili. Before you knew it, Nyesom Wike had betrayed Dr Peter Odili and had joined forces with Rotimi Amaechi against Peter Odili.

“Before you knew it, Nyesom Wike had betrayed Amaechi and had joined forces with Patience Jonathan and former President Goodluck Jonathan. Before you knew it, Nyesom Wike had betrayed Patience Jonathan and Goodluck Jonathan.

“Before you knew it, Nyesom Wike was working with other interests and was stealing from the coffers of Rivers State to buy political patronage and influence all over Nigeria, sponsoring candidates and wasting the resources of the people of Rivers State.

You, Wike, and your group will account for all the money you have stolen from this State. Rivers people will hold you accountable.

“Rivers people have risen and they are not going to stand down. They will continue to stand by their governor (Fubara)

“The Supreme Court gave a judgment, affirming the election of Governor Siminalayi Fubara and we have accepted him as our governor and we are going to stand by him as our governor.”
