Police, soldiers raid bandits camp, arrest 6 suspects

Security operatives consisting of police and soldiers have jointly raided two bandits’ camps in forests in Kaduna and Niger states.

As a result of the operation, six suspected bandits were arrested and held in police custody.

Parading the suspects in Abuja, the FCT Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, gave the names of the suspects as Aminu Musa, Kare Gambo, Yunusa Musa, Isiyaka Adamu, and Muhammed Ibrahim.

The CP said the suspects have confessed to be part of kidnapping gang terrorizing the FCT and its environs.

Igweh said the operation was carried on Thursday and Friday in Gidan Dogo and Jere forests of Kaduna and Niger states bordering the FCT.
