THIS stationery shop may already be your go-to for finding bargains, but it turns out you can bag items from just 50p.

A shopper recently revealed on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK that discount retailer The Works has some offers on.

The group's admin wrote in a recent post: "Outdoor fun toys reduced at The Works."

Shoppers were delighted, with one saying: "We will have to pop in there."

Another Works fan was keen for her son to play with the water splash balls.

The water splash balls are just £1 - after being slashed down from £.1.50.

Also on offer is a light up bubble shooter which was reduced from £3.50 to £2.50.

But that's not it - the affordable offering includes products for even less - with the stitch bubble maze going for just 50p.

And if your child fancies a bubble fan, The Works is selling one for just £1 - and "it doubles up as a bubble tube to create amazing giant bubbles."

Other discounted toys include a more traditional paper hand folding fan, also going for £1.

This comes after another popular high street retailer is slashing prices on toys in a win for bargain-hunting parents.

The store is listing a heap of toys for half price and some with an even bigger discount in a golden opportunity to gift the kids with a summertime surprise.

Young musicians can snap up a kit including a guitar, plastic microphone and paper music sheet for £6 - a half-price steal.

Another deal for Disney-obsessed little ones includes a doll of Isabela from the movie Encanto for £7, down from £14.

The sale was posted to hotukdeals.com and received excited responses from grateful buyers.

One user commented: "Amazing prices thank you."

Another said: "Ordered a couple of the remote controlled cars at £3.60 each."
