"I have a life...I have camels," he said

Speaking during the JKL Show on Citizen TV, Jeff Koinange asked CS Duale what he would do if he was one of the advisors who let the president down.

In response, Duale said that if the President believes he let him down as the Defense Cabinet Secretary, then the President should do the right thing by removing him and anyone else who has failed to perform as expected.

"In the interest of the people of Kenya, he should have us step aside and have a new team. I am ready," Duale said.

He added that he has served the country in various capacities but is ready to face removal if he has become part of the government's problems.

"I've served the people of Kenya as a Member of Parliament, as the leader of majority, the last two years as the cabinet minister for Defence, but if I am part of the problem that is bedevilling the country let him start with me."

Boni Khalwale advises Ruto to dissolve cabinet

Previously, TUKO.co.ke reported that Senators Boni Khalwale suggested to Ruto to reduce the size of his Cabinet as a cost-saving measure.

Senator Boni Khalwale of Kakamega noted that financial difficulties could pose a significant challenge for Ruto and his administration, particularly as the public is resistant to tax increments aimed at addressing budget shortfalls.

This was after Ruto rejected the tax-laden Finance Bill 2024 following nationwide protests by the Kenyan youth.
