Oyo PDP chieftain condoles deputy national chairman over mum’s death

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in Oyo, Dr Kazeem Adesina Abidikugu has condoled with the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the party, Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Limotalai Arapaja last Wednesday.

As the Arapaja Family, their friends, and well-wishers both within and outside the country gathered today, Wednesday in the ancient city of Ibadan for the 8-Day Fidau prayer, Abidikugu in a condolence message called on Allah to grant Alhaja Arapaja Ajannah Fridaous.

Abidikugu, who was a PDP House of Representatives Aspirant for Ibadan South East/ North East Federal Constituency in the build-up to the 2023 general election however rejoices with the Arapajas for a well life spent by their Matriarch.

He said the family should be consoled by the fact that Mama lived a good life that has been attested to by everybody within and outside Ibadan.

The statement reads: “Our mama lived a good and decent life. She was a virtuous woman, a devout Muslim, and a mother we are all proud of.

“The PDP and the entire Nigerians are beneficiaries of a good training she gave her children. One of them is our leader, Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja.

“We pray the Almighty Allah to grant Alhaji Arapaja and the entire Arapaja family the fortitude to bear the loss,” Abidikugu who is a Nigerian United Kingdom-based psychiatric consultant, said in the condolence message.
