Submit Yourself To EFCC, We Won't Abandon You- Tinubu

The Tinubu Media Support Group (TMSG) has urged the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, to heed the advice of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) and submit himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the court of law.
According to the group, it has become necessary for Bello to clear himself of the allegations of financial malfeasance while in office.
The EFCC had filed 19 criminal counts bordering on money laundering to the tune of N80.246 billion before a Federal High Court in Abuja against the former governor and others.

Morenikeji Egbun Orun Is Dead

Morenikeji Adeleke, a popular gospel singer, also known as Egbin Orun, is dead.
This was confirmed in an Instagram post on Sunday by her colleague Esther Igbekele
Igbekele expressed shock and sadness, stating, “Egbin Orun departed suddenly without bidding farewell.

The Vice chairman South – South of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Orbih, former deputy governor, Rt. Hon Philip Shaibu, former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Kabiru Adjoto and several other bigwigs and followers of the party in Edo North Senatorial District have formed a political alliance.
The political bigwigs conveyed a meeting of the Legacy Group of the party at Orbih’ s country home in Ogbona, Etsako Central Local Government Area on Saturday.
They said they were displeased with the way Governor Godwin Obaseki was going about the coming election in Edo State.
Tinubu Directs Federal Agencies To Support Rivers In Tanker Fire Incident

In response to the devastating tanker fire incident in Rivers State, President Bola Tinubu has directed federal agencies to continue providing support to the state government in addressing the aftermath of the tragedy.
It would be recalled that a massive fire engulfed the Eleme section of the East-West Expressway in Rivers State on Friday evening when fuel-laden tanker exploded, leaving a pregnant woman and three others dead and about a hundred vehicles destroyed.
President Tinubu’s message, contained in a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, also extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the fire incident, while commiserating with the government and people of the state.
