There about 50 foreigners who have featured the top female league of Denmark. Interestingly, 5 of these ladies are from Africa. Who are these African women players?
The oldest among these Africans is Jennifer Cudjoe. This 30-year-old woman from Ghana has made 17 starts for Nordsjælland this term. This midfielder has been credited with 1487 minutes of action within the period. Coincidentally, the youngest African that has played in the competition this season is also from the same country. This is Princess Marfo who is presently 20 years old. This forward registered one goal in 14 appearances before moving out to America.

In addition to these Ghanaians there are two Ugandans in the Danish female top flight. They are Aisha Nantongo and Vanessa Edith Karungi. The former is a defender who is currently 22 years old. She has only appeared in 4 games with 1 start to show for it in the squad of Aalborg BK this season. The latter is one of the two goalkeepers that have featured for Nordsjælland this term. Interestingly, she kept a clean in her only game of the season.
Joy Ogochukwu Omega of Nigeria is the fifth African on the list. This 21-year-old lady has made 14 appearances for Fortuna Hjørring this season. It is noteworthy that she has scored on 4 occasions so far. This makes her the African top scorer in the tournament so far.
