Former chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Lauretta Onochie, has taken to social media to voice her concerns after a video of Kaduna state governor, Uba Sani, discussing former governor Nasir El-Rufai was posted online.

In the video, which Lauretta Onochie shared on the microblogging platform X, Governor Uba Sani is seen in a meeting explaining that individuals he believed to be Nasir El-Rufai's friends conspired to remove El-Rufai from his ministerial position in 2007. Sani noted that El-Rufai had helped these individuals secure appointments within both the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and the presidency.

Governor Uba Sani further remarked that he often tells Nasir El-Rufai that he has a complicated destiny because many of the people he assists end up betraying him. He added that El-Rufai is generous to everyone but himself.
In response to the video, Lauretta Onochie expressed her agreement with Governor Uba Sani's comments, noting that this is the Nasir El-Rufai they all know.
