Damagun’s Loyalty To Wike Sinking PDP — Clark

Elder statesman Chief Edwin Clark has written an open letter to the acting national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Iliya Damagun, accusing him of being bamboozled by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and jeopardizing the fortunes of the party.

In the letter dated April 24, 2024, and made available to the media in Abuja, he accused the party boss of ceding control of the recent meeting of its National Executive Committee (NEC) to the minister, who is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, while insisting on his membership of the main opposition party at the same time.

APC Asks Aiyedatiwa To Run Inclusive Govt

After a marathon meeting with aggrieved governorship aspirants who participated in last Saturday’s primary election in Ondo State, the ruling All Progressives Congress has urged Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to run an inclusive government.

The outcome of the two-hour meeting, which started at about 4.30 pm, was disclosed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Duro Meseko.

Addressing journalists at the party secretariat in Abuja, Meseko said the party’s National Working Committee took the position after dialoguing with the governor and the aggrieved aspirants to create a united front ahead of the November governorship election.

President Bola Tinubu has said bilateral partnerships must be mutually beneficial, transformative, and must translate into real gains for ordinary citizens.

Speaking at the Nigeria-Netherlands Business and Investment Forum in The Hague, on Thursday, President Tinubu in a statement by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale emphasised the pivotality of stronger ties between Nigeria and the Netherlands.

Tinubu said both countries must explore more creative channels of collaboration through partnerships, joint ventures, or strategic alliances in order to build bridges that connect markets and facilitate the flow of goods, services, ideas and peoples.

He said his administration is enhancing the business environment in Nigeria to make it very friendly through various reforms.
