ACP, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the public relations officer of the Nigerian Police Force addressed the media during the parading of suspected bandits and kidnappers, alongside weapons recovered from them by the police.
In a video recently shared on YouTube by Channels TV, Adejobi highlighted a particular riffle found among the seized items. He stated that the riffle most likely belonged to a soldier or police officer who was tragically killed by the criminals. He emphasized the dangers of illegal arms possession and urged the public to remain vigilant. He warned that those involved in such criminal activities often resort to drugs and are known to carry weapons illegally. He urged everyone to speak up if they notice suspicious behavior, emphasizing that raising alarm could prevent future crimes and save lives.
In Adejobi's words: "They must have killed a soldier or personnel of the Police to have stolen this gun. In most cases they know how to get this arms illegally but we will surely get them as we have been doing. When you see them taking drugs around you, shout. If you don't shout you may be the next victim".
