According to Punch News on July 5, 2024, President Joe Biden made some noteworthy statements during a Pennsylvania radio show hosted by Andrea Lawful-Sanders. Biden aimed to establish a connection with the listeners and made claims that he was the first Black woman to serve alongside a Black president. In addition, he described himself as the first president to be elected statewide in Delaware during his childhood.

The president proudly declared, "By the way, I'm proud to be the, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, served with a black president, proud of the first black woman in the Supreme Court." He emphasized the potential of what can be achieved when people come together, expressing his belief in the limitless possibilities in the United States of America.

These statements come on the heels of a week where Biden faced criticism regarding his age and fitness for a second term in the White House. During a heated debate with Donald Trump, marked by personal insults, Trump labeled Biden a failure in terms of the economy and global standing. In response, Biden attempted to counter these accusations, but his delivery was hindered by a raspy, trailing-off voice. He stumbled over his words and appeared visibly perplexed at times.
