Tharaka Nithi Gov Hon Muthomi Njuki has this afternoon said Pres William Ruto's close allies and advisors will be blamed should the latter fails to be re-elected come 2027 polls. He said that Gen Zees are tribeless, political party less and are genuine.
Speaking during another event on Saturday, the outspoken Mt Kenya gov said it was uncalled for Pres William Ruto to refer Gen Z protesters as criminals who pretended to be peaceful Protesters. According to the governor, there is no single Gen Z who could think of storming parliament, looting properties, throwing stones to police officers adding that was the work of some rogue political leaders who felt that the govt was being embarassed.
Equally, in his message Muthomi Njuki opines that Pres William Ruto shouldn't have generalized that Gen Z protesters were done by criminals, adding that whoever gave that advise to the Head of State totality misled him.
"Sometimes we need to face the reality the way it is. These Gen Zees have no tribe, have no political party. They are Kenyans expressing themselves.... some people misled our President but it is okay," Muthomi Said.
