According to what Alhaji Buba Galadima said in the report by The Sun News, "Not every politician who worked for a party would get an appointment. I am the secretary of the Board of Trustees. Which appointment did I get in Kano? Is the man doing what he has promised to do for the people? That is the issue for me. When I was fighting President Muhammadu Buhari, some people said it was because they didn’t give me an appointment. What did they mean by they didn’t give me an appointment? Since 1978, I have been in politics as an activist, and I didn’t even become a councilor; did I stop talking?"
