Former presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina has discussed the personality of former president Muhammadu Buhari, characterising him as inconspicuous.
In a video that Channels TV posted on YouTube, Adesina described how Buhari decided to live distant from Abuja, the nation's capital, after leaving office in order to avoid attracting notice or meddling in the activities of President Bola Tinubu's administration. He highlighted a comment made during his book launch by President Tinubu, who commented that he hadn't gotten any calls from Buhari or received any suggestions for appointments from him since he left office as president. He emphasised this as evidence of Buhari's tactful manner.
Femi Adesina claims: "Tinubu claimed that since Buhari stepped down, he hasn't received a call from him and hasn't recommended anyone for an appointment. You should not generalise about past presidents in this way; that is not Buhari.
