Former Nigerian Senator and human rights activist Shehu Sani has suggested on X handle that Nigeria should lend its BVAS and IReV electoral technology to Ghana.

Ghana's upcoming presidential elections will see a new leader take office as President Nana Akufo-Addo completes his second term. This will be Ghana's fifth peaceful presidential transition since the return to democracy in 1992, further solidifying its reputation for stable and predictable leadership changes.

As Ghana is expected to hold a presidential election in December 2024, the former senator and activist Shehu Sani took to his X handle to air out his view and thought

According to Shehu Sani, he proposed that Nigeria lend its BVAS and IReV electoral technology to Ghana, in the spirit of African brotherhood and to save costs, as Ghana's presidential election is scheduled for December.

In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:

"Presidential Elections in Ghana is scheduled for December. In the spirit of African brotherhood and to save cost, make we just borrow dem our Bivas and IRev."
