Matiang'i Response After A Section Of Kenyans Wants Him To Be President

opera.com 3 days ago

Honorable Robert Alai, a well-known blogger turned politician and the current Kileleshwa MCA, has disclosed what former Interior Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang'i did as soon as he received a phone call from someone expressing Kenyans' desire for him to become president. In response, Matiang'i—who, according to reports, is currently in Washington, DC—printed T-shirts and caps with his name on them and sent them to Kenya in the hopes that he would soon see a lot of people wearing them.

This occurs in response to numerous Kenyans voicing their dissatisfaction with President William Ruto's administration; as a result, some have said that Matiang'i would be the most qualified individual to assume the presidency in the event that Ruto steps down. But in response to Matiang'i's support, Alai uttered the phrase "Atashagaa sana!" which means "He will be greatly surprised." Put differently, Robert believes there is no possibility of Matiang'i becoming the nation's highest official.
