Bishop David Oyedepo Reveals Secret to Continuous Blessings Without Crying to God

At the Midweek Communion Service, Bishop David Oyedepo, General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, delivered an impactful sermon titled "Understanding the Power of Obedience of Faith 6."

In his message, he revealed that he has never had to cry to God for blessings, attributing his continuous blessings to his unwavering obedience and service to God.

"I have not had to cry to Him ‘Bless me Jesus’ one day. Is it wrong? No! When He is already doing it, what am I asking Him for? You are coming on that frequency, answer will be there. While you are yet speaking, He is performing," Bishop Oyedepo stated, emphasizing the power of aligning oneself with God's will.

Illustrating his point, he recounted a recent experience where he led an evangelism effort, saying, "I was with one of us today we were on the table. I said wait a minute, let me go and fulfill my passion. I must go out. We returned with 88 souls within a few hours. Sir, He hasn’t stopped blessing me once."

Bishop Oyedepo stressed that no one who serves God faithfully and fruitfully does so at a loss. Citing Job 36:11, he affirmed, "You end up a wonder to behold when you are a result-oriented servant of Christ. That is what obedience of faith does with those who serve God with results."

He used the metaphor of farming to illustrate the importance of seizing the right seasons for sowing and reaping. "Every planting season by covenant has a guaranteed harvest season. One cannot be involved as a farmer in the planting season and miss his harvest season," he said, warning that missed seasons cannot be recalled.

Bishop Oyedepo declared that the upcoming four weeks would be a harvest season for those who have diligently served during Operation 2024. "Go to the vineyard and work and when evening was come, they were paid their due. Harvest of rewards based on results. You sow sparingly, you reap sparingly; you sow bountifully, you reap bountifully," he concluded.
