Former PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, has weighed in on the recent developments within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Amidst claims by PDP Board Of Trustees Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, regarding the alleged efforts of the APC to establish a one-party state, Ologbondiyan stressed the need for the PDP to address its internal challenges rather than solely blaming the APC. He expressed disappointment with Hon. Emeka Ihedioha's resignation, suggesting that he should have waited for the party to resolve its issues before taking such a step.
In an interview with Arise News Television, Ologbondiyan emphasized his disagreement with the notion that the PDP prioritizes self-interest over nation-building. He extended sympathy to Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, characterizing him as a dedicated party member. Ologbondiyan suggested that Ihedioha's resignation could have been delayed to allow for the resolution of internal matters within the party. He also highlighted that Ihedioha's concerns are shared by other members, indicating broader discontent within the party.
