"In his Words"

"When Goodluck Jonathan was the President Of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mobil purchased an oil block for 2.5 billion dollars but Mobil only paid 600 million dollars. So we investigated and we established the facts because we confronted the DPR and he claimed that they don't have records, NNPC couldn't give us records of that transaction".

"We asked Mobil 'If you are saying you paid 2.5 billion dollars rather than the 600 million dollars admitted by the government then where is the receipt that was issued to you when you paid for this oil block?'. Mobil couldn't do that, they were rather trying to compromise me, their vice executive chairman visited me and when he saw that I was not willing to play ball, he left. Shortly after that you know, I left Government", Chief Okoi Obono Obla said.

The "Mic On Podcast" shared the video of the interview on their official instagram page today being Tuesday the 2nd day of July, 2024 and it stirred massive reactions from the general public. Click on the link below to watch the video.
