English legend Alan Shearer has spoken to the media about the players England should include in their starting lineup against Switzerland in the Euro 2024 quarter-final.
England made a good start to the tournament as they won two of their first three games in the group stage. They won the recent match with luck against Slovakia as Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane came to their rescue. England head coach Gareth Southgate has been criticized for not utilising his players properly at the tournament as some pundits are calling for some of the players on the bench to start every game.
However, as gathered from Vince™ on X, Newcastle legend Alan Shearer has joined other pundits in urging Southgate to start Palmer in England's next game. He also called for Kobbie Mainoo and Anthony Gordon to be included in the starting lineup. He was quoted as saying: "I would keep Palmer in I would bring Gordon in.
