Shehu Sani, a former Senator and human rights advocate, praised the Kaduna State House of Assembly for investigating the state’s finances from 2015 to 2023.
He made this statement on one of his recent post on his X platform formerly called Twitter.
The probe targets the alleged mismanagement of N432 billion during former Governor Nasir El-Rufai's administration.
The investigation has generated significant public and political interest, with Sani’s support enhancing discussions on financial accountability in the state.
In Shehu Sani's words, he said, "Again, I wish to commend the Kaduna State House of Assembly for the probe of the finances of Kaduna state from 2015-2023. The people of Kaduna applaud and appreciate your courage and patriotism," Sani wrote. He assured the Assembly of the public’s support in their efforts to recover any looted funds, regardless of the individuals involved."
