According to Vanguard, the Arewa Integrity Group has rallied behind Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, applauding his commitment to peaceful leadership and urging him to uphold public good, welfare, and quality as the cornerstone of his governance. The group's endorsement comes amidst growing tensions and concerns over threats to democratic principles in the state.

Led by DSP Abdullahi A.U Ladan (SPD Rtd), Chief Coordinator, and Dr. Musa Samari, Secretary, the Arewa Integrity Group issued a statement emphasizing the crucial role of democratic values in governance. They called upon various national stakeholders, including the Council of State, former heads of state, and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, to intervene in what they perceive as threats to Nigeria's fledgling democracy, particularly in Rivers State.

"We commend Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his peaceful leadership and implore him to continue prioritizing public good, welfare, and quality," stated the group. They highlighted Governor Fubara's role as a beacon of calmness amidst challenges, emphasizing the importance of his continued leadership in promoting stability and progress in Rivers State.

The statement issued by the Arewa Integrity Group underscored their commitment to democratic principles, stressing the need for all stakeholders to uphold public responsibility and ensure quality governance. "We prioritize public responsibility and quality in governance. It is imperative that actions threatening our democracy be halted to prevent further harm to businesses and the overall stability of Rivers State," the statement read.
