According to a report by Punch, Ademola Akinlosotu, a 33-year-old leader of a ritualist gang, has confessed to his involvement in gruesome killings, shedding light on the dark world of ritualistic practices. Speaking to reporters after being paraded by the Lagos State Police, Akinlosotu revealed chilling details about the gang's modus operandi.
"I had only killed two people, which included a friend I met through social media, before I was arrested," Akinlosotu disclosed. He explained that before carrying out any killing, the gang would consult with an herbalist to ascertain the likelihood of success and to mitigate potential repercussions.
"Before we kill anyone, an harbalist will be contacted to consult the oracle if the killing will be successful or bring trouble. The day we were to carry out the killing was the day my online friend visited me, and he was killed."
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police, confirmed the arrest of the ritualist gang, signaling a significant victory in the ongoing fight against such heinous crimes.
