The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu stated on his verified Facebook page; "It was a pleasure to welcome a delegation from the International Trade Center, led by Ms. Natasha Aniekwu, to the House of Representatives. Their visit aimed to explore partnerships to promote nationwide digital and economic growth."
He added; "I discussed the Peace in South East Project’s (PISE-P) efforts in digital literacy, highlighting the Community Enterprise Digital Hubs initiative in collaboration with Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT)."
He stated further; "I stressed the need to address the digital access gap between urban and rural areas for inclusive growth. Bridging this divide is crucial for all Nigerians to benefit from the digital economy."
He noted; "The House of Representatives is committed to partnerships and strategies that provide digital access and literacy to underserved communities, ensuring no one is left behind. We look forward to a fruitful partnership with the International Trade Center, particularly in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises."
