A video interview was recently uploaded by Abdul-Aziz Na'ibi Abubakar, the Director-General of Atiku's The Light Organization and a well-known PDP member.
Dan Bilki Commander, the APC chieftain in Kano, made a strong declaration on the North's position on the 2027 elections in the video. He said in Hausa that the North will not make the same error by supporting Tinubu in 2027.
He emphasized that they would support Kashim Shettima and threatened to vote against the APC in the next elections if Shettima was not nominated.
Dan Bilki Commander said, "We're not going to repeat the mistake of voting for Tinubu in 2027; we're voting for Kashim Shettima, and if APC delegates fail to give us Shettima, we will turn against APC come 2027."
The APC Chieftain's remarks in Kano are indicative of the political shifts that are occurring both inside the party and in the area as participants get ready for the next election cycle.
