The Nigerian Correctional Service (NSC) has set the record straight regarding Bobrisky's prison conditions, dismissing claims that the popular crossdresser is enjoying a luxurious stay in a "one-bedroom flat" cell, according to Tori News.

Bobrisky, whose real name is Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, was sentenced to six months in prison for abusing the naira notes. Since his incarceration, rumors have circulated that he was living comfortably in a special cell, sparking outrage and disbelief among many Nigerians.

However, the NSC has clarified that Bobrisky shares the same cell with other convicted inmates, and there are no en-suite or 'one-bedroom flat' style cells in the Custodial Centre. The service emphasized that all inmates, including Bobrisky, are subject to the same rules and regulations.

Contrary to claims that Bobrisky was allowed to wear his signature feminine attire, the NSC stated that he observes the dress code for male inmates and wears the designated correctional clothing.

The NSC's statement aims to dispel the misconception that Bobrisky is receiving special treatment or living a life of luxury while serving his sentence. The service reiterated its commitment to upholding the law and ensuring that all inmates are treated equally, without favoritism or discrimination.
