Ex CBN Deputy Gov, Moghalu Reacts To The Meeting Of The Five South East Governors In Enugu.

The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Professor Kingsley Moghalu, has reacted to the reported meeting of the five south east governors in Enugu, earlier today.

While reacting, Prof Moghalu made it known that despite the commendable performance of some individual governors in the south east, the governors have so far not demonstrated the collective will and commitment to the region that is required for its progress on the security and economic front.

Prof Moghalu went on and demanded to know whether their ongoing meeting that was convened by Emeka Anyaoku, Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo and Ohaneze Ndigbo President General, Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, will change the tide.

Professor Kingsley Moghalu made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Tuesday afternoon, while reacting to the report.

It should be recalled that the governors of the five states in the South East region and other leaders in the region today met in Enugu, the capital of Enugu State, on Tuesday.

The Governors who were present during the meeting includes, Hope Uzodimma, of Imo State, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State and Charles Soludo of Anambra State. They were all received by the Enugu State governor, Peter Mbah.
