According to a report by Punch, the ruling on Thursday by the Appeal Court, which reinstated Martin Amaewhule and twenty-four other legislators to the state House of Assembly, has not alarmed or discouraged Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The Rivers State High Court had previously barred Amaewhule and the other parliamentarians who supported Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, from representing themselves as legislators. This order was overturned by the Appeal Court, which also declared that only the Federal High Court has the authority to consider the lawmakers' case.

In response to the ruling, Governor Fubara reassured everyone that his administration remains fully committed to delivering the essential infrastructure needed for the state's rapid development. He made this assurance following an assessment of the reconstruction progress at the Khana Local Government Area headquarters and the Zonal Hospital in Bori Town.

His Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, conveyed this information in a statement.

Governor Fubara addressed the concerns of the people of Rivers regarding previous court rulings, stating that there was nothing to be alarmed about because he believes that God has prepared a table of benefits for him amidst his adversaries.
