Insiders Reveal Who President William Ruto is Preparing to Sack From his Government

President William Ruto is allegedly preparing to make significant cabinet changes in response to a wave of public protests and growing displeasure over the last three week.

According to administration insiders, some cabinet secretaries may be removed due to their perceived opulence and questionable lifestyles.

Cabinet secretaries, whose showy displays of riches have aroused public indignation and accusations of corruption, are anticipated to be fired.

Principal secretaries who have been accused of corrupt actions are also likely to be removed from office.

The predicted cabinet upheaval comes as President Ruto strives to regain public trust and demonstrate his commitment to good governance. The recent protests, which resulted in his rejection of the Finance Bill 2024, have increased scrutiny of his administration's spending and transparency.

"President Ruto is keen on sending a strong message that he is dedicated to fighting corruption and promoting accountability within his government," a source told me.

"This shakeup is aimed at reassuring Kenyans that the president is listening to their concerns and taking decisive action."

In an effort to address public spending issues, President Ruto announced the elimination of various government offices. Notably, the offices of First Lady Rachel Ruto and Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi will be exempt from the new budget.

During a roundtable discussion with media at State House on Sunday, June 30, the president declared, "Offices like the First Lady's have existed before, but we are going to eliminate that and other offices starting tomorrow so that we can control our spending."

Furthermore, the president announced plans to eliminate the offices of Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS) as part of his administration's cost-cutting efforts.
