The former spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has reacted after he was accused of criticizing former President, Muhammadu Buhari but staying quiet under the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to an X user, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed claimed he is doing more behind the scene, hence the reason for his silence.
The X user wrote on his official X handle;
"The guy said he is doing more now behind the scene. Somehow saying if not for their inputs, things would have been worse".
Reacting to the comment, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed stated that he is proud to have criticized the administration of Muhammadu Buhari. He said Buhari deserved all he did. He said NEF does more for Nigeria than all the noise makers on social media.

"He is proud to have taken on Buhari. He deserved it. He is in a place you cannot be. NEF does more for Nigeria than all the noise makers on social media".
