The deputy president of the Republic of Kenya has shared an update about a high profile meeting that happened in Karen and which was a bilateral meeting between Kenya and China.
From the information shared, the deputy president has revealed that he hosted the ambassador of China, who was recently deployed to Kenya at his official residence in Karen.
The ambassador of China Zhou Pingjian was in the company of several officials from China who are currently in the country to discuss matters of bilateral ties between the two nations.
The deputy president has said that Kenya and China share a long-standing relationship and will continue to foster the strengthening of the ties.
Some of the areas that the two countries are gearing up towards strengthening the ties include areas on agriculture technology and also human labor together with development and infrastructure. The deputy president has further reiterated the government commitment to help China investors to invest in Kenya.
