According to Times of Israel, the Israeli military stated that seven Palestinian gunmen, including members of the cell responsible for last week's horrific roadside bombing attack, were killed on Friday morning in Jenin, in the northern West Bank, during a drone strike and fighting with Israeli forces.

The Israel Defence Forces reported that after receiving information from the Shin Bet regarding the location of the cell that killed Cpt.

Alon Sacgiu and injured 16 other soldiers on June 27, soldiers from the Duvedevan commando unit and the Haruv reconnaissance unit of the Kfir Brigade attacked Jenin.

The IDF claimed that Hammam Hashash, 23, and his brother Harith Hashash, 19, were responsible for the roadside bomb attack.

The special forces surrounded the building where the two men were holed up in Jenin and used a technique known as a "pressure cooker," which entails increasing the amount of fire directed at a building in an attempt to force suspects to come out.

The soldiers engaged the two attackers in firefights while launching multiple shoulder-launched missiles at the structure, according to a military source.

The IDF reported that the two were ultimately slain in the fighting.

According to the military, Border Police officers in Jenin on Wednesday killed a third member of the roadside bomb group.

In addition, the IDF reported that throughout the operation, there were gunfire between the troops and other terror suspects, and that a drone attack was conducted against a group of four shooters who had been discovered in the area.

An IDF video of the drone strike was released.

Using fighter jets, attack helicopters, and drones, the IDF has launched about 55 airstrikes on the West Bank since October 7.

According to the military, such strikes have resulted in the deaths of over 90 terror agents and the injuries of several others.

The ministry of health of the Palestinian Authority also confirmed seven deaths.

Social media posts featuring some of the guys wielding assault guns suggested they belonged to local Jenin terror groups.

The conflict in the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7 when thousands of Hamas terrorists stormed southern Israel while rockets were being fired at major cities across the nation, has caused tensions to rise on the West Bank.

In addition to rape and torture, they ruthlessly murdered almost 1,200 individuals and took 251 captives. Over 1,750 of the 4,200 wanted Palestinians in the West Bank who have been apprehended by the military since October 7 are members of Hamas.

Over 560 Palestinians from the West Bank have died over that time, according to the health ministry of the Palestinian Authority.

According to the IDF, the great majority of them were terrorists carrying out assaults or gunmen killed during operations.
