Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, the federal government has disbursed N1.5 billion to movie producers for their projects. This initiative is part of the N5 billion Creative Fund, launched in partnership with Providus Bank in December 2023.
According to the post made on the president's media page, it states that, as part of efforts to support the creative sector, the President Tinubu-led administration has announced the disbursement of N1.5bn to movie producers in the country. The media revealed that the new development is part of an ongoing process as another sum of N3.5bn is expected to be released soon to further support creatives.
