PDP Chieftain and Elder Statesman, Bode George, in an interview with Arise Television, indicated that there are issues in the People's Democratic Party that need to be sorted out. During the interview, he said, "How can Wike work against the PDP? I don't believe it, but there are issues that would be sorted out.
Speaking about belonging to a group as a PDP member, he said, "First of all, it is an offense in our party for you to belong to a group. There is no group in the PDP; it is just one indivisible family. He further added that "the only time you will have a group is when you're contesting for one position or another and you need a team that will be campaigning on your behalf as against another member of the party. Once that is done, if you get into the PDP and you are just heading in our direction as a group, you will be punished. It is against the PDP rules.
