President William Ruto has denounced the recent anti-finance bill protests as 'treasonous' and instructed security forces to safeguard all Kenyans.

Breaking his silence from State House Nairobi on Tuesday evening, Ruto pledged to investigate the incidents that culminated in protesters breaching Parliament buildings. He cautioned against individuals he characterized as sponsors of the unrest.

In his address to the nation, President Ruto underscored the importance of distinguishing between criminal acts and the constitutional right to protest. "We must differentiate between criminals and individuals exercising their constitutional right to express themselves," he affirmed.

However, Kenyans have responded to President William Ruto's warning to take action against protesters who damaged property, urging him to refrain from boasting and instead listen to the voices of the Kenyan electorate who put him in office.

They assert that Kenya is larger than any individual, implying that they will not blindly follow policies that they perceive as detrimental, even if these policies are imposed by foreign entities.

They criticize his leadership as selfish and detrimental to others, suggesting that a great leader should not seek personal gain or sole credit. They highlight weaknesses in his leadership, including a lack of typical qualities such as vision, integrity, decisiveness, communication, feedback, motivation, and accountability.

The public perceives behaviors such as anger outbursts, ridiculing citizens, invading privacy, false accusations, manipulation, neglect, and isolation as signs of poor leadership. Key concerns voiced include passive-aggressive communication, failure to admit mistakes, disregarding concerns, and fostering an intimidating atmosphere. Below are the reactions
