President Bola Tinubu is committed to enhancing the judiciary to uphold justice administration, as stated by Mr. Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Vanguard reported Wike's remarks on Wednesday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Court of Appeal Complex in Abuja.

He talked on the significance of these programs and their alignment with the administration's broader objectives.

Wike recalled that Justice Monica Dangban-Mensem, President of the Court of Appeal, had requested the creation of the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal.

He also said the justice requested for a suitable housing for judges during the 2023 Legal Year.

In Nyesom Wike's words, he said, "President Tinubu’s approval for the construction of the Appeal Court Complex, accommodation for judges and justices, and retirement homes highlights the importance attached to the judiciary. I took the matter to President Tinubu, and he graciously approved. I would not be a party to a project that would take more than two years to deliver."
