The Directorate of Criminal Investigations special task force managed to make a discovery after a tedious process of investigations. The intelligence leads paid off as they nabbed a suspected Trafficker along the Eastern bypass.

The suspect identified as Solomon Mutuma Mutiiria was apprehended along the Eastern bypass heading to Kiaruguru in Ruiru sub county. He was discovered to be in possession of cannabis sativa popularly known as bhang concealed in gunny bags inside his saloon vehicle of registration KCR 411F. The illegal substance retrieved was amounting to four bales with a street value of approximately ksh.600,000.
The apprehended suspect has been taken to Nairobi police station along the Eastern bypass where he has been detained as the detectives conduct further investigations pending his arraignment in court to face the hands of justice.
