The former Governor of Anambra state and 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has reacted after a community park was named after a Nigerian man, Emeka Nnadi in Canada.

Peter Obi, a chieftain of the Labour Party disclosed that the renowned Nigerian architect helped to develop the Bridgwater area in Canada, by transforming what in 2006 was roughly 600 hectares of provincially owned farmland into multiple neighbourhoods

Peter Obi stated on his verified Twitter page on Sunday; "I recently read an inspiring story about a Canadian-based Nigerian, renowned architect and community leader, Emeka Nnadi, who had a community park named after him in Winnipeg's Bridgwater, Canada, due to his immense contributions to community development and societal growth"

The Labour Party chieftain added; "According to reports, the renowned Nigerian architect helped to develop the Bridgwater area, by transforming what in 2006 was roughly 600 hectares of provincially owned farmland into multiple neighbourhoods with thousands of homes."
