According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise chose to join Bayern Munich this summer, despite the interest of several Premier League clubs.
Chelsea, Newcastle United, Manchester City, and Manchester United are all considering a transfer this summer for the 22-year-old, but French international players have decided to join Vincent Companys Bayern Munich.
He added that the German club is expected to complete the deal with Crystal Palace when the transfer window opens. Bayer had contacted the palace in order to reach an agreement.
Chelsea abandoned their pursuit due to the lack of funds needed to complete the transfer. Meanwhile, Newcastle approached the palace, but now has to look elsewhere.
Ollis left last summer to join Chelsea, but eventually signed a four-year contract to stay at Selhester Park, pledging to be at Palas from 2023 to 24.
He scored 10 goals and six assists in 19 games during his crash campaign for Crystal Palace last season.
