Spanish Giants Real Madrid are soaring very high this season. The team are close to officially sealing the Spanish Laliga title following a 3-2 home win over eternal rivals and 2nd placed Barcelona and a 1-0 hard fought victory at Real Sociedad.
Real Madrid now sit 14 points clear at the top of the Spanish Laliga table although they have played one game more than the defending champions and 2nd placed Barcelona. Real Madrid now have 5 games remaining in the league this season.
Barcelona will face Valencia soon in the La Liga and should the Catalan club fail to win in that game then Real Madrid can mathematically seal the league title with a win in their next clash at home against Cadiz. However a win for Barcelona in their next two league games against Valencia and Girona would mean that Real Madrid would have to wait until a Match day 35 clash at Granada to seal the La Liga title.
It remains to be seen how quickly Real Madrid will seal the La Liga and become Champions of Spain.
