According to the report from the Vanguard, the former Federal Commissioner for Information and South South Leader, Chief Edwin Clark criticized Nyesom Wike, accusing him of creating chaos and insecurity in Rivers State by having ties to both the PDP and APC parties.
He argued that Wike's true intentions and affiliations may not be discovered in time by President Tinubu.
Comparing the situation to that of the Labour Party in Ondo State, he claimed that there were no splits or factions within the PDP from which 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly defected.
He said, "Nyesom Wike has definitely danced naked in the market with one leg in PDP and the second leg in APC, using the two legs to create crisis and insecurity in his own State, Rivers State and it may be too late for Mr. President to discover him. The PDP from which the so called 27 defected members of Rivers State House of Assembly was in the same position like Labour Party in Ondo State. No split, no faction."
